For freelancers
Type //draft. The client knows where it stands.
The scope you confirm before you start, the note when a draft is in, the revision you received, the invoice reminder on Friday. The work changes. The update should not be rewritten from scratch every time.
Nothing to install in Upwork, Gmail, or Notion. The message field is enough.
Watch it
Four updates from a client week.
The key types, the menu shows up, the blanks fill. Hover the panel to hold it.
A snippet with no blanks is free. Asking for a deliverable, or dropping in today's date, is Pro.
The week
Same update. Different job.
If every client email is a different essay, a snippet won't help. It helps the half you always write the same way, so Friday isn't a second job of rewriting status.

Before any hours go in
Homepage rewrite, two rounds, Friday. They reply yes to a sentence, not to a thread you both remember differently.
- 13:10mail.google.com//draft
The file is up
What it is, today's date, the one thing you need back. The date keeps "as of last week" from going out on a Friday.
- 16:00www.upwork.com//revision
They wrote in the other inbox
Headline and footer, next version Thursday. The same note, in the place they actually messaged you.
- 17:45mail.google.com//invoice
Before the weekend
184, €1,200, Friday. The reminder stays polite because you aren't inventing it at the end of the day.
Where it lands
Wherever the client already writes to you.
SlashNijo doesn't send the invoice or move a project stage. It inserts the text into the field you're in.
What you get back
Friday stops being a second writing job.
A draft note is about twenty-five seconds when you type it. //draft, a name, what you need: closer to ten. A week of clients is a pile of those.
Scope, draft, revision, invoice, a "got it", a signature. A personal set fits. Pro takes the ceiling off, and adds the blanks and the date.
The Friday email matches the one you sent in March. You stop softening it differently for each client because the day ran long.
The twenty seconds use the same 60-words-a-minute estimate as the counter on the home page. A one-line "got the notes" saves less. A scope with three blanks saves more.
Keys worth saving
Steal these. Change the voice.
Paste a snippet, keep the key you'll remember on a Friday. Words in quotes are what SlashNijo asks for when you hit //.
Hi @input('Name'), to confirm: @input('Work'), @input('Rounds') of edits, delivered by @input('Day'). I'll start once you reply yes.
Before the work starts. They reply yes to a sentence you can both point at.
Straight answers
Does SlashNijo send invoices or proposals?+
No. It inserts the text where the cursor is. The invoice, the file, and the send button stay yours.
Does // work in Upwork messages?+
In a normal message box, yes. SlashNijo listens to text fields and editors on the page. If a site draws the box in a way that isn't text, the menu won't open. You'll know on the first thread.
Can I share snippets with a client?+
Not yet. Sign in and your snippets sync across your own browsers. A shared library is on the roadmap, not in the product today.
What stays free?+
25 snippets, in any field. A note with no blanks, like "got it", counts as one of them. Asking for a name or a deliverable, or writing today's date, is Pro.
Do I have to use these keys?+
//draft is a suggestion. If your hands want //v1, save it as //v1. The useful key is the one you'll remember on a Friday.
Put Friday's update on a key.
Install the extension, save one client email you already send every week, and use it on the next job. The playground on the home page is the same flow, if you want to poke it first.
