Use cases

For real estate

Type //visit. The showing is set.

The reply under a listing, the confirmation once they pick a time, the note when an offer is in, the follow-up the morning after the tour. The wording stays. The street and the day change.

Nothing to install in Zillow, Realtor.com, or your inbox. The message box is enough.

Watch it

Four notes from a Saturday of showings.

The key types, the menu shows up, the blanks fill. Hover the panel to hold it.

zillow.com

A snippet with no blanks is free. Asking for a street, or a time, is Pro.

The day

Same note. Different street.

If every inquiry is a different essay, a snippet won't help. It helps the half you always write the same way, so you still have attention for the kitchen they actually asked about.

  1. 9:05zillow.com//visit

    The inquiry is already waiting

Oak Street and Thursday are the new words. The rest is the reply you stopped rewriting on Monday.

  2. 11:30mail.google.com//confirm

    They said yes to 6pm

Address, where to park, what to do if they're late. You don't reconstruct it from last Saturday's thread.

  3. 15:10mail.google.com//offer

The number has to be right

$640k and 30 days. The rest of the email should not change because you are typing between showings.

  4. 18:40mail.google.com//after

While you still remember the tour

It names 18 Oak Street and Thursday. It does not shrink into "let me know what you think" because the next one is in twenty minutes.

Where it lands

The listing site, and the inbox after.

SlashNijo doesn't post the listing or file the offer. It inserts the text into the message you're already writing.

What you get back

The reply goes out before the next tour.

A short availability note is about twenty seconds when you type it. //visit, a name, a street, a day: a few seconds. A Saturday of inquiries is a lot of those.

25snippets on Free

Visit, confirm, offer, the morning after, a disclosure note, a signature. A personal set fits. Pro takes the ceiling off, and adds the blanks.

//one version of the showing note

The 6pm confirmation matches the 9am one. You stop cutting the parking line because you're already in the car.

The twenty seconds use the same 60-words-a-minute estimate as the counter on the home page. A one-line "still available" saves less. A confirmation with an address saves more.

Keys worth saving

Steal these. Change the voice.

Paste a snippet, keep the key you'll remember between tours. Words in quotes are what SlashNijo asks for when you hit //.

Snippetzillow.com
Hi @input('Name'), the place on @input('Street') is still available. I can show it @input('Day') after 6pm. I'll send the exact address once you confirm.

Under the inquiry. Street and day, then you're done.

Straight answers

Does SlashNijo post listings or file offers?+

No. It inserts the text where the cursor is. The listing, the offer, and the paperwork stay in the tools you already use.

Does // work in Zillow messages?+

In a normal message box, yes. SlashNijo listens to text fields and editors on the page. If a site draws the box in a way that isn't text, the menu won't open. You'll know on the first inquiry.

Does it send the message for me?+

No. You still read it, change a word, and hit send yourself. The buyer never sees //visit.

What stays free?+

25 snippets, in any field. A note with no blanks, like a disclosure line, counts as one of them. Asking for a street or a day when you insert is Pro.

Do I have to use these keys?+

//visit is a suggestion. If your hands want //tour, save it as //tour. The useful key is the one you'll remember between showings.

Install the extension, save one note you already send about a showing, and use it on the next inquiry. The playground on the home page is the same flow, if you want to poke it first.
